It all started in Hackney Wick where we gathered on a gloriously sunny day where London blessed us with blue skies (and heat!) for the inaugural London Beercycling Tour!  The first stop was at Crate Brewery where we were shown around the brewery (which is bigger than any of us imagined) and were shown just how Crate creates and refines their award winning brews.  The tastings we had afterwards was the perfect way to start the day

After Crate we embarked on our first cycle of the day!  We left the beautiful East London canals behind and went through Victoria Park towards our next brewery.  After a nice 15 minute ride we arrived at our second stop on the brewery tour - One Mile End.  Based in the White Hart Pub, Ollie the brewer showed us how they make the most of their space and opened up some of their most popular brews for us to try.  Their Blood Orange Double IPA and Ancho Cocoa Stout was divine!

After basking in the sun after our tastings and further beers, we left for our third and final stop at the Temple Brewhouse.  Here, the brewer Vanessa not only showed us how she brews the beers (while it was actually brewing!) she also gave us a genuinely interesting and in-depth history of beer!  Who says you don't learn while drinking?

Keep an eye out for our video from the day which we are working on and keep an eye out for our next Beercycle in August.  We are finalising the dates as we write and we will let you all know when it has been finalised :)
