The shores of the lake are still characterised by small villages with bell towers in natural stone and beautiful villas surrounded by magnificent gardens with steps adorned with statues leading down to the lake.

Between the 16th and 18th Century, nobles from Milan had their Summer residences built on the lake, with each one as grandiose and classy as the other complete with exotic plants and trees. You will be lucky enough to see these villas from their best view point – the water.
