“A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away” ― Eudora Welty

Eudora was a pretty smart lady and if she was around now, no doubt one of the places she would of been snap happy in is Dubrovnik. With it's clear waters, picturesque alleyways, medieval walls and scars from history it is quite easy to fill up your memory card without realising (trust us, we've done it!).

For great panoramic shots of the walled city, head up to Srd Hill where on a clear day you can see out to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the mountain range. Whilst up here you can see how close Lopud Island is to the city and with a big enough zoom you can probably see all the peacocks that just stroll around on it! You have two options to get up here. Either walk or take the cable car. The cable car is inexpensive and perhaps the best way to experience the hill is taking the cable car up and walk down. Just make sure you have some water with you!

“If you want to see paradise on earth, come to Dubrovnik” – George Bernard Shaw

We have been to Dubrovnik many times before and we can testify to how George Bernard Shaw so beautifully described this 'Pearl of the Adriatic'. From just walking along the Stradun, up the steep old alley stairs and across the medieval walls watching life past by, this really is a paradise. Even if you don't fancy the walk, the beach is there to relax on and kayaks are available to rent to see the city from the water.

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved” - Ansel Adams

This place is more than just the Kings Landing. It is more beautiful than you have seen in the magazines and television. Do justice to your memories and camera and join us on the Adriatic Images experience and enjoy a 5 or 7 night stay in the Radisson hotel with a professional photographer taking you out and showing you all the best bits of the city and teaching you how to make the most out of the camera you have.
